Rabbits & Hares

The mountain or blue hares mostly come from the Grampian region and make a very wearable size sporran. Their fur is incredibly soft and I love managing to keep all their hundreds of amazing whiskers intact. The brown hares are larger than the mountain hares. Both animal's ears are shrunk down an inch or so to protect them along with a silver or brass cantle. The heads lift up to get into a full size pouch. I have found some fun coloured farmed rabbit skins to use alongside the wild rabbits I have been given locally.
