Pheasants

I love working with the pheasant skins, the colours and patterns are so incredible I cannot bear to throw them away. They come in a huge variety of colours from the melanistic dark blue/green to the red/gold ones and the Reeves pheasant gold/black colours. These sporrans work better with the silver cantle to protect them which open to get into the full sized pouch. The pheasants are much tougher than people imagine - they have been shot, picked up by dogs, turned inside out whilst skinning and then washed. If the feathers get ruffled they can easily be smoothed back down again. Just keep away from dogs!
